Levi Heuberger-Yearian, Esq.
Attorney at Law
I grew up in Port Townsend, and my legal career is rooted in service to the community. I enjoy running a small practice and working directly with clients to provide a service tailored to their individual needs – something that was harder for me to achieve in the past while employed at a large firm. An analogy from medicine would be the physician who practices reductionist care, treating charts and symptoms rather than the patient. I take a more holistic approach to law, taking time to listen to my clients, understand where they are coming from, and keep them involved and informed throughout their representation.
Beyond private practice, I have provided pro bono representation in immigration matters, including securing asylum for Afghan allies left behind after the fall of Kabul – individuals who stood with the United States and suddenly found themselves without a safe path forward.
As a member of the Jefferson County Bar Association, I share in its dedication to making legal services accessible to all.
Outside of my legal work, I enjoy playing the violin, which my grandmother teaches locally. l also spend significant time studying Slavic languages.

Paralegal
My background is in behavioral research, particularly studying how people actually make decisions under uncertainty. This training allows me to spot patterns others miss and question assumptions that might look obvious.
Before joining Heuberger Law, I worked in clinical trials at the University of Oxford. That work required absolute precision: regulatory deadlines, complex documentation, and coordinating between multiple institutions where a single error could derail years of effort. I bring that same discipline to every case I support.
After my undergraduate studies I served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Greek Infantry with Special Forces training. That involved leading platoons under pressure and making decisions with limited information in high-stakes environments. I know how conflict escalates and how to keep complex situations from spiraling. This experience grounds my research background in the realities our clients face.
I hold a PhD from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Evolutionary Psychology. I am fluent in Greek and Spanish and communicate comfortably in Russian. Outside the office, I train daily and shoot black-and-white film.
